Gymmi helps gym owners in Pakistan keep track of members, fees and reminders. This page explains, in plain words, what information Gymmi keeps, why, and what you can do about it.
What we collect
- Your account: your email address (or your Google name and email if you sign in with Google), your gym's name and username.
- Your gym's records: the members, plans, fees, payments and reminders that you add to Gymmi or import from a sheet, file or photos. This can include your members' names and phone numbers.
- Basic technical information needed to run the service, such as when you sign in.
How we use it
- To show your dashboard and keep your records safe and available to you and the staff you give access to.
- To prepare WhatsApp reminder messages. Messages are sent by you, from your own WhatsApp; Gymmi does not send them for you.
- We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising.
Google account and Google Sheets
If you sign in with Google or connect a Google Sheet, Gymmi asks Google only for your basic profile (name and email) and access to the specific files you choose in Google's file picker. Gymmi cannot see your other files. We use this access only to read your member list and, if you choose, keep that sheet up to date with changes you make in Gymmi.
Gymmi's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Reading files and photos with AI
When you import a file, Gymmi first tries to understand it without AI. If it needs help, it may send the column headings (with names and phone numbers hidden) to an AI service run by Groq. If you upload photos of a paper register, a price list, a PDF or a Word file, the page contents are sent to Groq so the AI can type them up. You always review the result before anything is saved.
Who stores it
Your data is stored with trusted service providers that run Gymmi for us:
- Supabase (database and sign-in), on servers in Mumbai, India.
- Vercel (hosting the website).
- Google (sign-in with Google, Google Sheets), only when you use those features.
- Groq (AI that reads imported files and photos), only when you use that feature.
- Vercel Web Analytics (visitor numbers: which pages are visited, where visitors come from, country and device type). No cookies are used and no one is personally identified.
- Sentry (error reports, so we can fix problems quickly). Reports say what went wrong in the app, never your members' details.
Each gym's records are kept separate; one gym can never see another gym's data.
Your choices
- You can edit or remove members at any time in Gymmi.
- You can download all your members and payments as an Excel file, and delete your gym and account yourself, any time, in Settings. Deleting removes your gym's records, your login and the front desk login for good. To ask what we hold about you, or for help, email sarambuilds@gmail.com.
- You can remove Gymmi's access to your Google account at any time from your Google account settings.
Your members' information
You are responsible for having your members' permission to keep their details in Gymmi and to contact them on WhatsApp. If a member asks you to remove their details, you can remove them in Gymmi.
